  Notes	Matilda & Mahala were most likely twins. They were baptised together and the Fairlie passenger list records them as being the same age. Both evidently had shipboard romances with crew members on the way to NSW as both seamen jumped ship to stay in the colony and later marry the girls they'd met on board the Fairlie.
