  	OBITUARY MR. PATRICK McLAUGHLIN The death occurred inSt:John of God Hospital on Thursday, of Mr.PatrickMcLaughlin, an old resident of Yarra. Mr.McLaughlincarried on farming pursuits and had been ill forsomemonths his admission to hospital taking place threeweeksago. Mr. McLaughlin was a member of one of thepioneeringfamilies of Canberra, and was for 69 yeas agoclose towhere Federal Parliament House now stands. Thewhole of hislife was spent in the Goulburn Monarodistricts. Mr.McLauglin is survived by a widow, five sonsand twodaughters. The sons are Messrs. Les, Harry, Claude,Georgeand William and the daughters, Alice and Vera. Thefuneraltook place at the Catholic Cemetery on Saturday.Rev.
