Waterfall Sanatorium Cemetery, Waterfall, New South Wales, Australia

This Cemetery is the resting place of over 2000 people who died mostly from Tuberculosis in the early part of the 20th Century.
Established about 1km from the Waterfall Sanatorium, a 164 bed hospital that opened in 1909.
The Cemetery was almost forgotten and records of those interred presumed lost. Few headstones remain, those that have survived are damaged by time and bushfire.
Today Garrawarra is an aged care facility built specialising in dementia patients with high care needs.
